Happy New Year, all! We wanted to thank all of our Librarians for participating in our “Tuesdays with Tammy” (TWT) sessions with the SANDI Professional Development team. The tremendous amount of combined effort spent learning and beta testing the new tools of the Nevada Career Explorer is amazing! We all learned how to update the virtual reality headsets and became more familiar with the career services content and programming ideas that will continue to benefit each of our libraries.
We are ready to launch a special group focusing primarily on the virtual reality aspects of the NVCE. Some of the most engaged TWT library participants have been asked to join this new group beginning February 1 through the middle of March. If you are interested but have not heard from us, please reply to Jahairy. Weekly postings to the SANDI blog will keep everyone up to date on progress, so please stay tuned here.
The Community of practice training continues and will soon begin geared toward our community college SANDI navigators. To our remaining community of practice members (One Stop, State Agencies, and NGOs) please stay tuned your training cohort will be announced soon. Please continue to use the SANDI training hub for independent learning or refresher information
